Bushido Dragons - Karate for Kids

Mondays 6:30 - 7:30
Sadly the news has been full of stories about youth stabbings and attacks in recent years and so I think it is imperitive that we generate interest in martial arts from an early age to give our innocents the chance to defend their safety in todays society.
The increased safety for our children from training at an early age is of course only one of the benefits for your child of joining Dragons. With childhood obesity on the increase along with more and more children suffering from learning dificulties and respiratory related problems, martial arts can help with all of these conditions.
"I myself was initially taken to a Karate club by my parents at the age of five as a last ditch attempt to get me involved in an exercise that could help me. At the age of 5 weighing little more than 4 stone, suffering with extremely sever bronchil asthma and being the least confident child in the school, I needed help and focus. Karate has given me confidence over the years and a keen interest in what goes on in my body. Now at the age of 29 I am considered to be one of the most confident and healthy people in my friendship groups. I owe it all to the way Karate has taught me to look at life and challenges." - Chief Instructor Kevin Archibald
